Our Aims and Mission
We aim to deliver the best possible early years learning and development experiences for our children. By focusing on the ‘unique child’ and our key relationships with the children, we pride ourselves on offering an innovative, friendly and safe environment.
We understand all children will develop at their own pace and our strong key person system, routines and resources ensure that each child becomes the best they can be.
Our Curriculum
We aim to stimulate children’s interests, responding to each child’s emerging needs and guiding their development through warm, positive interactions coupled with secure routines for play and learning.
Our provision is organised by taking parts of recognised and established methods of teaching in the Early Years. We call it a ‘blended curriculum’. We believe that children respond well to:
‘In the moment learning’ (observing and interacting with children as they pursue their own interests and also assessing and moving the learning on in that moment)
a ‘curiosity approach’ (focusing on and celebrating magical moments in early years, providing passion and the invitations to learning which will promote curiosity, imagination and awe and wonder for children)
the method of education that is based on self-directed activity, hands-on learning and collaborative play.

Testimonials
“I can’t thank all the staff at Happy Days enough for all they have done for my son over the past year. They are extremely welcoming, we were always greeted with a smile. Most importantly my son felt secure and safe there and had a very strong bond with his key worker. My son has grown in confidence and personality and has learnt so much since being at Happy Days. He loved going there and always had a big grin on his face at the end of each day. We will miss going to Happy Days and i will certainly be back again with my youngest. Thank you for everything”.
Happy Days in Fair Oak is absolutely amazing. The staff are so friendly and helpful. My grandchildren have all been there over the last four years and have enjoyed it so much, are always happy to go and one of them cries as he doesn’t go on a Friday. Would have no hesitation in recommending Fair Oak Happy Days
“My son went to Happy Days (Fair Oak) and I can’t thank them enough for being so great with him, he loved being there and it was nice knowing my son was in safe loving hands, considering he wasn’t the easiest child, the care and support received was phenomenal, not to forget the bonds he developed with Sue and some of the other staff. Since then, I keep hearing how amazing Happy Days still is. Outstanding”.
